On June 6, 1963 The National Trust of SA moored her in the dock at Mannum. Restoration of The Marion commenced in 1990 and she was re-launched on November 1994.

Totally destroyed by a boiler explosion on the River Darling on November 9th, 1872 with the loss of 5 lives. The Adelaide papers reporting the destruction described it at the time' the worst accident on the rivers' as the vessel was "blown to pieces", with pieces found up to 300 metres away (and the Chinese cook only 10 metres away up in a tree!). This is a 1:25 scale model.

PS Ruby Model Paddlesteamer

The original PS Ruby was built in 1907 by David Milne at Morgan. Composite hull (metal frames, wood plankiing). Overall length 39.98 metres. First registered by Hugh King and then purchased by the Gem Navigation Co (1914) then by Murray Shipping Ltd (1919).

The register closed in 1961 stating 'broken up' however this was incorrect. In 1969 she was acquired by the Wentworth Rotary Club and sits in Fotherby Park (minus engine, boiler and paddlewheels) and now is being restored.

Scale 1:40 built from photos.
